This isn't just a restaurant, this is the fruit of years of labor. A dream of two people that has been hard earned, one plate at a time. This is part of a legacy being built.

David and Vickie.
Married over 30 years, David and Vickie are natives to the Jeff Davis/Acadia area.
At the heart of our restaurant is a simple story: family, hard work, and a dream that refused to quit.
David and Vickie have spent years building not just a business, but a life centered around good food, good people, and the kind of hospitality that makes strangers feel like family. What started as a dream years ago slowly became late nights, early mornings, long days, countless prayers, and more sacrifices than they can probably count.
Between raising four children and now loving on seven grandkids, life has never exactly been quiet. From the pig barn to the church pew, no one has ever accused the Breaux's of not being busy. But through every season of life, this dream stayed alive.
This restaurant is the culmination of years of hard work, perseverance, and faith. It’s built on the belief that food brings people together, around tables, across generations, and through all of life’s celebrations and chaos. When David and Vickie opened this restaurant they didn't just dream about full tables, they dreamed about their grandkids working there one day.
If you spend enough time here, you’ll probably hear laughter from the kitchen, you'll probably see some kids running around, and there's a good chance you'll spot Vickie greeting people and loving on her grandbabies. You'll probably meet at least one other Breaux, or two...or seven... And if David disappears for a minute, there’s a good chance he’s fixing something, helping somebody, or pretending he’s “just checking on things in the back.”
This isn't just a business, it's an extension of countless crowded family dinners at David and Vickie's dreaming of "one day".
We’re not just serving meals here. We’re serving the kind of place we always hoped to create, warm, welcoming, a little (a lot) loud, full of love, and rooted deeply in family.
